Sony wanted to position themselves as innovative leaders in cloud solutions for media and entertainment
We needed to build a creative platform that would allow us to create a bank of content to be used across both trade, and tech PR and marketing
We wanted to build a campaign that focused on benefits and applications not tech specs
I developed the creative platform titled ‘Cloudsourcing Storytelling’ which used a podcast series as a key content driver
Invited targets, creatives and thought leaders to talk about the cloud and its current role in media
Produced the ten-part series; everything from guest sourcing and management, recording and editing and ongoing promotion
Designed the look and feel of the podcast branding for the logo, podcast artwork, zoom background assets and promotional content
Created a bank of content from episode transcripts including thought leadership pieces from Sony spokespeople, Q&As, case studies and user report, which is all being pitched to media in the following six months
The podcast was hosted on Spotify, Apple and on Podcast Radio Network which drove listens/watches both as audio and video
The ten-part podcast series received over 50,000 listens in the first four months after release with spikes in traffic as each episode was released
20+ pieces of ongoing media coverage from pitching written content produced out of the podcasts
We used listener stats to review the best-performing and prioritise related content in pithing efforts
